My Approach

I bring my whole heart and authentic self to the therapy room. I use warmth, validation, empathy, humor, storytelling, and curiosity, and utilize a holistic lens, viewing the mind-body-spirit connection as integral to who you are as a human being. I also use a lot of humor as I believe that therapy can be fun!

My therapeutic approach is to work collaboratively with you on the changes you wish to make. I work as a psychological archeologist and guide in supporting you in unearthing false beliefs, recognizing them and acquiring new beliefs.

We’ll work together in anchoring in new beliefs that reclaim your feeling of wholeness and autonomy. This process creates new neuropathways, new ways of being in the world, that support you in creating the life you want.

My unique lens draws from a number of different therapies, a synthesis of Redecision Therapy, Family Systems, Mindfulness, Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).

The process is direct and goal-oriented, and places an emphasis on our relationship and on you feeling truly seen and heard.

My Fees

Sessions are 50 minutes and my rates are competitive.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if I am a good fit for you and what you are searching for.

I do not accept insurance at this time. Many insurance companies give out-of-network reimbursements for mental health services. I encourage you to check with your insurance provider to understand what reimbursement options may be available. I am happy to provide you with a monthly superbill (itemized receipt of services) as needed.

Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
